Reeves Snowsports

We are based in Grindelwald and cover the entire Jungfrau region.  Full details of each ski area are below the piste map.

Grindelwald lies at 1034 metres at the foot of the Eiger and is surrounded by ice-capped peaks.  Grindelwald is easily reached on good roads.  The area is of such natural beauty that it is protected by the United Nations as the UNESCO Jungfrau- Aletsch- Beischhorn World Heritage Centre.

Wengen lies at 1275m on a sheltered sun terrace at the foot of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, 400m above the Lauterbrunnen valley.  Since 1893 access to Wengen has been via the historic Wengernalp rack-railway.

Murren lies at 1650m and is regarded as the highest permanently inhabited village in the Canton of Berne.  It is situated on a sunny terrace high above the Lauterbrunnen valley and offers views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

Ski Areas 

We operate in these areas from 28th November to April 25th.

Grindelwald- First

The First ski area is accessed from Grindelwald by a 25min 6 person cable car.  Once you reach the top of the cable car you have all facilities you require, including restaurants, restrooms and shops.

There are:

  • 7 Blue runs (novice)
  • 7 Red runs (intermediate)
  • 3 Black runs (advanced)
  • 2 Downhill routes (ungroomed) and a large amount of off-piste terrain.
First also offers:
Timed giant slalom course,
Skier cross course (February and March only),
White Elements Terrain park, varying difficulty jumps, rails and boxes,
White Elements Superpipe.

Kleine Scheidegg- Männlichen

Kleine Scheidegg is accessed from Grindelwald or Wengen by a 25 min train journey from the main station.

Männlichen is accessed by a 30 min 4 person cable car from Grund or a 4 min 75 person gondola from Wengen.

The area has over 15 restaurants and bars in the snow!

There are:

  • 2 Dedicated beginner areas
  • 13 Blue runs (novice)
  • 19 Red runs (intermediate)
  • 6 Black runs (advanced)
As well as a huge amount of off-piste terrain of varying difficulty.
Kleine Scheidegg is also home to the Lauberhorn Downhill & Slalom World Cup runs.

Murren- Schilthorn

Murren is accessed from Lauterbrunnen by a 10 min gondola ride.  There are 8 restaurants and multiple bars on the runs.

The area has:

  • 12 Blue runs (novice)
  • 11 red runs (intermediate)
  • 3 Black runs (advanced)
  • Terrain park with medium half-pipe
  • The Inferno with a vertical drop of 2175m!
